Write Articles That Work!

      Thank you for coming back to my Site. Today we are
going to cover Article Marketing and we are picking up
where we left off in the last issue. You should have your
Title, Sub-title, Keywords and Keyword phrases, and your
Article outline prepared for the next step in Optimizing and
Publicizing Your Website and Articles.

    What do you mean "NO"  I gave you several days to work
on it !  Yes, I can do it all myself but you won't learn anything
that way! Not to mention, I charge for my services.  So, Get
on the Ball ! You need Your Site on the First Page of Google!
Why? what do you mean Why? 

     I will tell you why, Because that is where all the Targeted
Traffic is hanging out with their checkbook in hand! Think
about it, They will not get to your Site unless they are Searching
for it, so it makes sense they would be more apt to purchase
your product or Service. Why waste your Time posting Ads to
Thousands of other Marketers that most likely have what you
are offering already collecting dust in a folder somewhere. Put
Your Ads and Site in front of Fresh Targeted Traffic on a Daily
Basis!  Instead of getting thousands of "visits" with no sign-ups,
Get Hundreds of "Hits" that Purchase what you are offering.

     We covered where and who you could get your Articles from
such as PLR Articles and Ghost Writers but to start your writing
career off the right way we are going to cover the Structure of
your Articles themselves.

     Articles should be Useful, Informative, Relevant and Timeless
if at all possible. Most Freelance writing falls into most of these
categories but double check to be sure it fits your needs.

     When writing Articles for any subject you need to strategically
place your Keywords and Phrases throughout the Copy for the
best results with the Search Engine Spiders. First your Title and
Sub-Title should contain your Main and Secondary Keywords,
By Secondary I am referring to the second list of Keywords you
created earlier in the training. Always give yourself a "Back Door"
You can Optimize a smaller Keyword quicker than you can a very
Strong and frequently Searched Keyword. Target both but expect
the weaker one to be indexed first, Then continue your efforts
until you reach the First Page for all your Keywords.

     While having your Main Keywords strategically inserted is
very important, Relevant and Pertinent content with a Readability
level of Intermediate/ High School , so everyone has a good chance
of understanding what you are saying , Will win you more Subscribers
and Customers than an Article stuffed full of Keywords just for the
Search Engines.  Many people try to write like a professor or some
College Student of 7 Years and the General Public is not capable
of comprehending very much of it. Write like you Talk (minus the 4
letter words) and people will come to read what you write.

     When writing your Copy or rewriting the PLR Articles, Do the best
you can to insert your Keywords atleast once but hopefully twice in
each paragraph. This means to put the Relevant keywords where
they naturally fit in your story, Not every Keyword in every paragraph.
Emphasize  your Main Keywords in the First and Last paragraphs
so your copy starts with one subject and ends with the same subject.

     The content should be around 300 to 800 words, If you have more
content than this, Just break it up in to multiple Articles so you can put
more Articles on the First Page of Google, Yahoo, MSN and many
more Search Engines. Google loves sequels and continuous content
Just look at Twitter.com !

     Finally your Article is ready to be Published Right?  Not Quite Yet!
You still need to list your Tags and Categories for your Site or the
content of your Article. Tags you can pull straight from your copy or
copy off of your notes from earlier. I never write exactly what I have
pre-written so I like to pull mine from the Copy I end up with. This way
I am sure my Keywords are in the copy and I will not receive any
Google Slaps or get my Site banned. Resist Keyword Stuffing at all
cost, It will cause more damage than good in the long run. Search
Engine Optimization is not a Quick Service, Sometimes it can take
several months to get indexed in the Search Engines. Be Patient
and always strive forward, You will reach your goals with much more
satisfaction. I usually start with 15--20 Tags and see what the results
are doing before I add some more for other categories.
     As far as the Categories go, you should use your Main Category
for your Title and a secondary Category for your Sub-Title. Do not
add too many Categories unless they definitely apply to the Content.
Just as with the Keywords. If you can't see it, Don't use it ! Google
will love you for it.

     All right now! All of the Tags and Categories are designated and
inserted, You are Ready to Publish your Article or Launch your Site
and to give it a boost of Targeted Traffic right off the Bat, Here is a
